Finally, the sequel to the inside story... Job Complete!

Have you ever wonder what goes inside your sofa? Why is it sinking and is it really value for your money? Here's a glimpse of the "inside story"... Story No 1 - Beneath the seat cushions This photo is taken off one of the sofa that we were assigned to reupholster. The webbing belt underneath the seat is responsible for the resilency and comfort of the sofa seat. A layer of foam is usually place over it. In this instance, the webbing belts are a bit too sparse and over time, the owner felt that the seat is sinking. To rectify the problem, we add a piece of material over the webbing belt before covering it back with the foam. This will gives additional support to the seat and eliminates the "sinking" feel that the owner has. Story No 2: Back of Sofa This is what we found when we stripped down this sofa. Check out these beautiful dining chairs! The original leather does not hold up well in this weather. And so the owner has chose to reupholster it, giving it a new lease of life. What is more interesting is the combination of 2 different fabric for the 10 chairs that they have. Well coordinated and definitely added more interest to the dining room!
