Jazz it Up by Jann Chan

Just remember  my very first assignment. Please excuse the bad resolutions cos at that time there was no iphone ;p This was taken more than 10 years ago. This Chesterfield sofa was bitten by a rottweiler.  Both owner and me felt that this is a dog with good taste for design cos the deep tufts of Chesterfield was never profound on a floral print. You don't see it! Ends result after we jazz it up definitely brings out the beauties of a Chesterfield!

 Serious, this is the work of a dog.. a small one too ;p   Maybe doggie thinks that this chair needs some spicing up... Afterall its always safe and fun to add some prints to single occasional chair. New Retro Look..

No kidding; you don't have to spend hours in a shopping mall to look for a new bed.  This sweet mummy gave me a call, requesting to "jazz up" an old daybed for her little boy.  I asked for a photo so that I can have a better idea of what we are talking about and gave a ball park quote. Next thing you know, I am on my way to their house with various samples and some borrowed color pencils from my new boy friend ;p One week later - Reupholster with durable, easy to clean synthetic leather most suitable for children's room. Been a while since I last post anything... same old stale excuses... busy :( Well that's what my upholsterer told me when I commissioned them to do my own sofa. Gave them the design last September and only got this delivered to my house Dec. And that is because I definitely need to have it for my Christmas party and I threatened to "fire" everyone if I don't get it :) But don't worry if you want to get one done for you. Paying customer gets it within 3 weeks.. a month latest ;p Drawers, drawers, drawers...everyone can use some extra storage space! Getting away from the minimalist low back to this much comfortable high back per my mum's request Split back for a sleek look. Great feature to show off if sofa is not placed against the wall.

These armchairs were upholstered using a contrasting color synthetic leather for the sides to give it a more vibrant looks.
